[Solved] Can't get proper behavior from Elephant ... Surface Dial works fine
I recently had to rebuild my computer and so re-installed Elephant. But I'm having some major issues:
1) When I start up Elephant I wait until the splash screen tells me to click my mouse. I do not touch dial while waiting.
2) After splash screen goes away I sometimes can use it to control a virtual control but then after some time passes I seem to have lost Elephant .. its no longer running, or its running but I am not able to manipulate any controls. .
3) I check to see if Elephant is still running... It is, but it is a blank screen! I can only "see" a black screen if I alt-tab and see it is one of the programs running, but If I alt-tab to it, I get nothing.. I'm just looking at my (usually Virtual instrument) .
4) I should stress that I am able to use the "normal" Surface Dial functions.
Any idea of what is going on here? I have a installed a fresh updated version of Windows 10.
In simple words what you said is after some minutes all is non responsive?
If you close Elephant or restart the machine, all run ok again and after few minutes the same issue is repeated?
How much time? around 10 minutes?
What is the exact version of your windows install?
Already replace the dial battery?
Please reply with all that info and do this test:
When the issue happen, make just one click on the dial (single click/tap of the dial) wait 5 seconds and inform if you see all back to normal.
